About us

Trailex Oy is a company founded in 2022 by employees who previously focused on track inspection.

The personnel has extensive work experience in mechanical track inspection since 2003, including track inspection operation, maintenance, development tasks, training and reporting. In addition to track geometry and rail parameters, the competence covers the measurement of catenary wire both statically and dynamically, and approval measurements of track and rolling stock with separate measuring equipment. Since 2021 we have done consulting.

The employees have the expertise to evaluate track management from construction and maintenance to inspection and reports, both from the perspective of safety and quality. The personnel has an average of 15 years of experience in track inspection, reporting, machine maintenance, calibrations and product development. We have done product development in the operation of measuring equipment and maintenance control and reporting. We have developed several different reports and indexes for evaluating safety, quality of maintenance and planning the need for maintenance work. The different systems of track geometry measurement are familiar to us in practice (inertia, three-point contact measurement). The person responsible for machine maintenance has years of experience as a supervisor of a tamping machine and as a driver of various track maintenance machines.
